On Easter Monday, 02 April 2018, the Falcon-9FT-Rocket of the company Space X by Elon Musk
successfully started its journey to space.
Besides two tonnes of freight the time capsule arried at the ISS with a Dragon-Spacecraft on 04 April 2018.
In a height of more than 400 kilometers the time capsule is circling the globe several times with ESA-Astronaut
Alexander Gerst. After that it will be saved in the "house of history" in Bonn till 2068.

The Time Capsule is filled with wishes of pupils and will start its journey to the ISS 2018, together with Alexander Gerst.

The time capsule ist manufactured by teenagers.
It cosisted of a aluminum sphere, made by apprentices in the Brunswick DLR location.

The picture shows the time capsules first prototyp in the apprentice workshop in Brunswick.
It weighed 700 gram, was 15 centimeters high and had a thickness of 4 millimeters.
The final version with an diameter of 13 centimeters and a wall thickness of 3 millimeters weighs less than 500 gram.
