Satellite image map from DLR: Earthquake zone in the city of Padang, in the southern part of Indonesia, on 8 October 2009 (scale 1:10,000). Based on data from radar satellites, DLR’s Center for Satellite Based Crisis Information (Zentrum für satellitengestützte Kriseninformation; ZKI) created maps of the affected areas for a preliminary evaluation of damage to buildings.
