Angelika Schulz from the DLR Institut of Transport Research will present the paper Identifying and understanding long-distance travel demand by combining official transport statistics and survey data which deals with the description of the long-distance transport of the German population.
23.-24.3., Workshop B8 - Smartphones in travel surveys
Dr. Anton Galich & Dr. rer. nat. Claudia Nobis from the DLR Institute of Transport Research will be sharing their insights into a field experiment with the smartphone based survey method MovingLab. The paper shows how technical survey methods like the MovingLab can be better evaluated and thus improved by integrating the users' perspectives on its functionality through questionnaires.
