                22nd STAB-Workshop

                With around 70 scientific contributions, the STAB Workshop took place at DLR in Göttingen. The “Flow with Separation” working group (STAB) was founded in 1979 on the initiative of the German Society for Aeronautics and Astronautics (DGLR – Lilienthal-Oberth e. V.).

                100 Years of Ludwig Prandtl's Mixing Length Model

                A special session on turbulence modelling was held as part of the STAB Workshop 2025. Experts highlighted how Prandtl’s foundational work has shaped the development of statistical turbulence models over an entire century, while also discussing the opportunities and directions that future turbulence research may open up.

                High-Performance Computing and Networking (HPCN) Workshop 2025

                At the HPCN Workshop 2025 in Göttingen, DLR, aerospace research and industry partners presented current projects and research results – ranging from forward-looking exascale computing to high-performance HPC applications. Hardware and software providers also showcased the latest developments in high-performance computing systems.

                Paris Air Show 2025

                The Paris Air Show at Le Bourget Airport is one of the biggest events in the industry. 2500 exhibitors from 48 countries had registered and up to 300,000 visitors were expected.
