June 30 – July 1, 2026

High-Performance Computing and Networking (HPCN) Workshop 2026

Scope and Objectives

High Performance Computing is a key driver for numerical aerodynamic simulation and for the multidisciplinary simulation and optimisation of aircraft, spacecraft, ground transportation systems and wind energy systems, including their components. The essential need of tailored HPC-systems in these areas requires a close cooperation of the application side with providers of these systems.

This year the HPCN-Workshop will take place Dresden, home of the CARA-Cluster. DLR, aerospace academia and industries will present their research and projects in the scope of the workshop, ranging from future topics with invited speakers like Exascale Computing to today’s large-scale HPC-applications in DLR focusing on performance and scalability aspects. Hard- and software providers of HPC-systems will present their latest developments.
