Collaboration between FlyECO and TRIATHLON for Climate-Compatible Aviation

What makes this step particularly valuable is that it enables a closer scientific and technical exchange already before the formal publication of research results. This early sharing of knowledge allows to align methodologies, discuss preliminary findings, and accelerate learning across projects — all while respecting confidentiality.
TRIATHLON
TRIATHLON is a Horizon Europe project developing next generation hydrogen electric powertrain technologies for megawatt class aircraft. Coordinated by Materials innovation institute M2i and Delft University of Technology, the project advances hydrogen aviation through innovations in storage, thermal management, fuel cell systems, and low NOX combustion — all integrated into a full systems level powertrain architecture. Its goal is to enable cleaner, safer, and more efficient propulsion solutions that support the sector’s transition toward climate neutral flight.
