The aim of quality management is to maintain and improve the quality of the services provided

Since 2003, the Institute of Flight Guidance has been certified according to the quality management standard DIN EN ISO 9001.

The Institute's management system ensures the implementation of the quality policy and the quality objectives within the Institute in accordance with the requirements of the international standard DIN EN ISO 9001. It serves the purpose of preventing and avoiding errors in all areas of service provision with appropriate corrective and preventive measures. The application of the management system is intended to ensure that relevant internal and external issues as well as all organisational and technical processes and activities can be planned, controlled and monitored in order to maintain and improve the quality of the services provided.

The Institute continuously improves the effectiveness of the management system in accordance with the requirements of the international ISO standard and DLR's framework conditions.
