Arrangement at the WiValdi wind energy research park
At the DLR Research Wind Farm WiValdi, the IECplus measurement mast, wind turbine OPUS 1, the mast array, and wind turbine OPUS 2 are arranged in the main wind direction, one behind the other, to better study the wake flow of the two wind turbines.

The employees of the working group Measurement Systems and IT develop and support the measurement and data technology for aircraft and the research wind farm WiValdi. This includes customised software development. They support the research tasks of the entire Institute by operating various servers and ensuring IT security.
