                    Airbus A320

The simulation cockpit of the Airbus A320 is a faithful replica of the original aircraft cockpit and meets the highest quality standards. There is space for three people in the cockpit with an additional two seats in the operator's cabin for the operator and the flight test engineer.

                    Airbus EC135

The simulation cockpit of the Airbus Helicopter EC135 is a precise replica of the Flying Helicopter Simulator (FHS). It offers space for two pilots, a flight test engineer and an observer. The workstation of the flight test engineer corresponds to that of the FHS, while the operator's cabin offers space for an additional person.

                    Motion Platform

The motion platform is based on an electro-pneumatic hexapod system with six degrees of freedom, the MOOG type MBEP-6DOF/60/14000kg. This motion system enables precise movements in three linear directions (vertical and two horizontal) as well as three rotational movements: Pitch, Yaw and Roll.

                    AutoGyro Cavalon

DLR operates the AutoGyro Cavalon D-MGTD to research the flight dynamics of gyrocopters.

                    Dynamic passenger cabin

The dynamic passenger cabin offers space for up to 16 people and can be integrated into the AVES’ motion platform. It enables the realistic simulation of all flight movements, such as take-off, landing and turbulence, and is ideal for studies on passenger behaviour.
