For the WISDOM project, the Liebherr Aerospace Lindenberg GmbH has developed and built an actuator (EMA) for high-dynamic gust load alleviation
This actuator is tested at Liebherr on a specially designed test bench (see figure). Afterwards, the Liebherr Aerospace Lindenberg GmbH units are integrated into the WISDOM test rig. In addition, Liebherr provides corresponding simulation models of the actuator to DLR and TU Berlin to enable both pilot tests and the operation of the EMA within the full experimental environment.
