Safe landing on vertiport
To prevent harm to people during landing on a vertiport, the use of person detection systems is being investigated. Conditions under which the person detection system was trained – such as the camera angle – are monitored during flight to increase confidence in the detection. Likewise, constraints on the operation such as geofencing are continuously monitored to enable emergency countermeasures if necessary.
