Our colleague Andreas Benedikter has been awarded the 2019 ARGUS Science Award granted by HENSOLDT. The award is endowed with of 1500 Euro. His master's thesis "Analysis of a Side-Looking SAR for Subsurface Imaging of the Ice-Moon Enceladus" done in Research Group SAR Missions was sucessfully defended at Prof. Vossiek and Prof. Krieger, University Erlangen. The Award ceremony took place on 25 September 2019 in Ulm. We wish him all the best for the future.
