We are very happy to announce that our colleague Georg Fischer defended his doctoral thesis yesterday, on 27 November 2019, at the Institute of Environmental Engineering of the ETH Zurich. His thesis is entitled "Modeling of Subsurface Scattering from Ice Sheets for Pol-InSAR Applications". The doctoral degree "Dr. sc." is awarded from the ETH Zurich, Department of Civil, Environmental and Geomatic Engineering. Congratulations, Georg!
