We are happy to announce that our colleagues Felipe Queiroz de Almeida, Tobias Rommel, Gerhard Krieger and Alberto Moreira won the this year's "ITG Preis". It is awarded every year by the Informationstechnische Gesellschaft (ITG) of VDE (Verband der Elektrotechnik, Elektronik, Informationstechnik) in four categories: ITG Fellow, ITG Preis, VDE Ehrenurkunde und ITG Dissertationspreis. The award is associated with the publication „Multichannel Staggered SAR: System Concepts With Reflector and Planar Antennas”, IEEE Transactions on Aerospace and Electronic Systems 55.2 (2018): 877-902. The awards ceremony of the Informationstechnische Gesellschaft in VDE (ITG) took place in the framework of the VDE-"Hauptstadtforum 2019". Around 100 participants came on 25 November 2019 to participate in the traditional "Jahresabschlussveranstaltung" at Berlin-Brandenburgische Akademie der Wissenschaften (BBAW) located at "Gendarmenmarkt", Berlin.
