We are very pleased to announce that our colleague Dr. Tobias Rommel was unanimously elected as Chair of U.R.S.I. Commission F (Wave Propagation and Remote Sensing) in the National Committee Germany at the 2021 Kleinheubach Meeting on September 28, 2021. He will take office in September 2022. The International Union of Radio Science (U.R.S.I.) is an international association of scientists for the study of all aspects of electromagnetic waves and is part of the prestigious International Council for Science ICSU.
