We would like to announce that our colleague Victor Mustieles-Perez defended his doctoral thesis with honors on September 22, 2025, at the Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg (FAU).
The title of his dissertation is "Drone-Based Ultra-Wideband SAR Interferometry for the Generation of Digital Elevation Models".
It makes a significant contribution to the analysis and signal processing of drone-based ultra-wideband interferometric SAR (Synthetic Aperture Radar) systems and demonstrates for the first time how these can generate very high-quality digital elevation models.
