PhD candidate Ya-Chun Wang successfully presented her experimental research on Monday, September 16th, at the University of Cologne. The committee members were Prof. Matthias Sperl, Prof. Andreas Schadscheider and Prof. Barbara Milow. Her work demonstrated the high efficiency of using an electrodynamic shield system to remove lunar dust simulants from technical surfaces in vacuum and simulated space environments. This research was part of a collaboration between DLR and ESA's OSIP initiative during her PhD.
