QuantiCoM
Quantum Computing for Materials Science and Engineering (QuantiCoM) is the DLR project for the development of advanced methods using quantum computers in materials science and engineering, in which the Institute of Materials Physics in Space is also involved.
The aim of QuantiCoM is to use quantum computers to enable faster material development, while at the same time significantly reducing development times. The interactions of atomic systems are to be made calculable through quantum mechanical effects such as entanglement and superposition.
