Publication ethics and malpractice statement

The Smart Maritime Technologies Conference is committed to maintaining high standards of publication ethics and academic integrity. All submitted papers must present original work and must not have been published previously or be under consideration for publication elsewhere. Authors are responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of their submissions, appropriately acknowledging the contributions of all authors, obtaining permission for the use of third-party material, and properly citing sources and prior work.

Submitted manuscripts will be subject to an appropriate review process, and reviewers are expected to evaluate submissions objectively, confidentially, and free from conflicts of interest.

The conference organisers and editors reserve the right to investigate suspected cases of plagiarism, duplicate or redundant publication, fabrication, falsification, undisclosed conflicts of interest, inappropriate authorship, or other forms of publication misconduct. Where malpractice is identified, appropriate action may include rejection or withdrawal of a paper, correction or retraction of a published contribution, and notification of relevant institutions or other appropriate parties.

By submitting a paper, authors confirm their adherence to these principles and agree to cooperate with any reasonable investigation concerning the integrity of their work.
