DGLR-Fachsymposium der STAB

The next symposium will take place on 27 and 28 October 2026 in Aachen.

Call for Papers

Preference will be given to fluid mechanics contributions on the topics of the STAB specialist groups, in particular on topics from national and international collaborative projects.

Please send a two-page abstract of your full paper (in English) by e-mail to the STAB office (stab[at]DLR.de).

Deadline for submissions: 15 June 2026

The header of the abstract should include the topic group, the title of the paper, the author(s)' institution and address, and the email address (see template: STAB-Mitteilung 2026).

You can choose whether to give your presentation in German or English. However, English is recommended.

Submission and Review of Full Papers

Once you have received a notification of acceptance, you can upload your full paper (maximum 10 pages) via the following link during the registration process: DGLR-Fachsymposium der STAB - ConfTool Pro - Login.

Manuscripts must be submitted by 19 October 2026 at the latest. (No paper, no podium.) Manuscripts received after this date will not be accepted for review.

Accepted papers will be published in the Springer series "Notes on Numerical Fluid Mechanics and Multidisciplinary Design."

You are welcome to suggest suitable reviewers for your paper.

Format

Full papers must be written in English and may not exceed 10 pages (including all illustrations and references).

All symposium participants will receive a link to the digital edition of the conference proceedings from Springer.

The STAB annual reports from previous years (from 1988 onwards) can be requested from the STAB office if you are interested.
