They design, construct, calculate and simulate innovative drive systems, efficient energy conversion concepts and advanced lightweight construction concepts for the trains and cars of tomorrow. They also carry out analyses and evaluations in interdisciplinary collaboration to investigate how ecologically, economically viable or user-friendly vehicle concepts are. Our teams work on most research projects with a network of partners in industry and research.
