Electric motor test bench
The electric machine test bench is available for testing test specimens and is able to simulate the electrical energy sources present in the system, the mechanical load and various peripheral requirements.

To support this process, the Institute of Vehicle Concepts has an extensive portfolio of research services and test benches. These can be used to investigate, characterise and optimise both partial and complete systems. Application clusters are focussed on vehicle technologies in the road and rail sectors. Thanks to the institute's research activities, extensive and flexible measurement technology is also available for a wide range of applications.

In special internal technology qualification projects, the technical maturity level of technologies is increased and validated in order to transfer them to the market. We enable our business partners to help shape the technology transfer from research to the market. The research and development results validated in this way can be utilised by the industrial partner, for example through licensing.
