Machines for quasi-static and dynamic loading are available for testing samples and small components. Samples can also be climate controlled over prolonged cycle time intervals. The research field 'lightweight and hybrid design methods' has available, among other things, the following facilities for sample characterisation:

  • Dynamic loading at resonant frequency
  • Ageing tests in the climate chamber
  • Sample preparation
