Evaluation of vehicle air conditioning

The evaluation of the developed air conditioning and thermal management concepts takes into account realistic driving cycles and extreme climatic scenarios (e.g. summer/winter conditions, fast charging, heat from traffic jams). The aim is to validly assess the system performance, energy efficiency and comfort effect under dynamic loads and practice-relevant environmental conditions - in particular with regard to range behaviour, system dimensioning and operating strategy for alternative drives.
