Open now: Registration for the TaFMAC Study in Daegu, Korea

- International long-term study TaFMAC (Track and Field Masters Athletics Cohort field study) is entering its next phase, this time in Daegu, Korea.
- Registration for the TaFMAC-Study (for competing athletes only!) is now open.
Once again this year, the TaFMAC Study (Track and Field Masters Athletics Cohort field study) will be conducted as part of the World Masters Athletics Outdoor Championships. This international long-term study will examine the relationship between training, physical performance, and health among masters athletes over a period of ten years. The team from the Institute of Aerospace Medicine at the German Aerospace Center (DLR) is conducting the examinations on-site in Daegu, Korea, in collaboration with international partner institutions. Athletes can now register for the free examinations. The testing program includes, among other things, cardiovascular factors, body composition, jumping performance, grip strength, lung function, and athletic performance.
