Human Spaceflight and Exploration

The team for human spaceflight and exploration represents the Flight Control Team (FCT) for the Columbus module onboard the international space station (ISS) and operates from the Columbus Control Center (Col-CC) which is hosted within GSOC. Col-CC permanently operates and monitors activities within the Columbus module, schedules and supports astronaut activities and is trained to react on any exceptional situations and emergencies. These tasks are defined as per requirements given by NASA and ESA for operations.
