Quantum Space Operations Center (QSOC)

Space and satellite missions consist of various complex software systems with numerous automated and computer assisted tasks that are developed at the German Space Operations Center. To concentrate efforts in the implementation and integration of quantum technology into space operations with the focus ranging from algorithm design to communication infrastructure, the Quantum Space Operations Center acts as a central platform for projects, collaborations, research and teaching and is hosted by the Quantum Technology Exploration group.

EuroQCI

Quantum Ground Node Operation Procedures

The project QuGNOPs aims at deployment and operations of Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) ground nodes for use in the EuroQCI. An important part of the establishment of the needed infrastructure are the QKD Ground Nodes and QKD Ground Node Operation Procedures. The latter is in particular important for a future permanent deployment and commercial operation by an operations center.
