Junior Research Group EXPERI Presents Their Results

The researchers in the interdisciplinary project EXPERI invite stakeholders to their conference on July 3, 2024, where they will present the recommendations for action for (political) decision-makers. Participation in the conference is free of charge.

Real Experiments for the Transport Turnaround

It is necessary to take a new look at public spaces and reshape them to successfully manage the transport turnaround. As a part of EXPERI, real-world experiments looked into a new and fair redistribution of this scarce resource. During the conference the results of this work will be introduced and can be discussed with the researchers from TU Berlin, RIFS Portsdam and the DLR Institute of Transport Research.

Dr Julia Jarass and Alexander Czeh will be speaking on the topic of “Reshaping Urban Space - Potential Areas for Housing and Active Mobility” and be part of the panel discussion “From Car Space Consumption to Alternative Use Through the Example of Experimental Spaces and Housing”.
