After a break due to the pandemic, the Federal Ministry for Digital and Transport Affairs would like to offer the opportunity to inform you about the results, background and research status of current BMDV surveys.
On the afternoon of 18 October 2022, the first part of the event will be dedicated to current topics and projects in the fields of statistics, forecasts and special surveys and will be a showcase for new research results and data innovations. The second part of the event on October 19 will be dedicated to celebrating the 50th anniversary of our eponymous compilation 'Verkehr in Zahlen' (ViZ).
The ViZ is regarded as the standard work of transport statistics in Germany. On over 300 pages, it contains annually updated figures and time series on a wide range of issues relating to mobility and transport. DLR's Institute of Transport Research is currently responsible for compiling the ViZ. Together we would like to give you an insight into the contents, the methodological background and the possible uses of the compendium. Further information can be found in the agenda:
The event will take place at the BMDV in Berlin, Invalidenstraße 44 (entrance Schwarzer Weg), room K1. The number of participants on site is limited. Alternatively, it is possible to follow the event via livestream. Participation is free of charge.
