  • Letztmalig wird eine gedruckte Auflage der Broschüre veröffentlicht. Diese kann kostenpflichtig beim Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt (KBA) bestellt werden.

The DLR Institute of Transport Research and the German Institute for Economic Research (DIW) compile the "Transport in Figures" brochure every year on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Transport (BMV). For over 50 years, it has developed into a standard reference work for figures and time series on all relevant topics relating to mobility and transport: From data on infrastructure and investments to daily mobility behaviour in Germany.

The 2025/2026 edition is also available in print for the last time. It can be ordered from the KBA for a fee: https://www.kba.de/DE/Statistik/VerkehrInZahlen/ViZ_inhalt.html

If you don't want to indulge in nostalgia, the BMV still provides a free digital version of the brochure. This also includes a version as an Excel file, from which the tables and data records can be easily extracted.
