With our Inclusive Design Guide (IDG) we present, as an example, certain user groups (such as women) and their typical barriers when using various modes of transport. It also includes simple design solutions for a better travel experience. Using the IDG, transport planners and researchers, as well as manufacturers and designers of transport vehicles, can already take the design requirements of many different user groups into account during the planning stage. Visit us regularly, as we are continually expanding the content. Additionally, you can provide feedback on your personal travel experiences and design requirements via a short questionnaire.

When we think about the mobility of the future, one element is indispensable: the transport mode. Whether bus, train, car, bicycle or e‑scooter, transport modes must meet a variety of design requirements because they are used by very diverse groups of people.
