31st German Flame Day for Sustainable Combustion 2023

The German Association for Combustion Research and the German Section of the Combustion Institute are organizing the 31st German Flame Day for Sustainable Combustion on September 27 and 28, 2023 at the Technical University of Berlin.

The use of sustainable energy sources will play a major role in the energy transition. These and other topics of combustion research will be discussed at the German Flame Day will be discussed. It serves the transfer between science and industry, between fundamentals and application. Around 300 participants from universities, industry and public authorities meet every 2 years to present their results and to discuss them. present their results and discuss future concepts and environmental issues. As chairman of the program committee, Prof. Uwe Riedel from the Institute for Low-Carbon Industrial Processes coordinates the selection of contributions.
