New weather station in Neustrelitz

At the end of September 2001, a new weather station of the Kachelmann weather network was set up on the site of the NZ remote sensing station.

Technical data: 10 m mast with wind traverse plus 2 additional recording units at a height of 2 m, which measure temperature, humidity, wind speed, wind direction, precipitation and sunshine duration.
