The Nostradamus (Data Cube and Copernicus data for Food Security and European Independence) EU-funded project is designing, developing and evaluating a scalable and robust platform for online and real-time collection of information from various data sources for the development of agricultural applications.
DFD Land Surface Dynamics department provides EO information products for monitoring drought and vegetation stress. In addition, the DFD contributes to an early warning system that provides drought warnings of varying severity, thus enabling farmers and land managers to take appropriate adaptation measures.

DFD Land Surface Dynamics department contributes to an early warning system for drought and vegetation stress using a combined drought indicator (CDI) based on EO products (soil moisture, vegetation indices, land surface temperature), meteorological data (SPI, forecasts) and IoT data.
