V&V4NGC

The goal of V&V4NGC – „Methoden, Prozesse und Werkzeugketten für die Validierung und Verifikation von Next Generation Cars (NGC)“ – is building up digital twins of driving environments and cars.  These will be brought together in a simulation environment based on test scenarios and methods for verification and validation for autonoumous driving. The result should be a mixed virtual/physical simulation environment for continuous verifycation and validation of new transport concepts finally leading to a virtual certification of autonomous driving. The joint work of IMF with OS and HR is building up a digital twin of a static surrounding of to be simulated vehicles. In the same work package TS provides the dynamic parts of the digital twin of the car surrounding.

IMF leads work package 1000, the implementation of a digital twin of the vehicle surrounding in cooperation with HR, OS und TS. In TP2000 the digital twin of the car will be developed. In TP3000 the digital twin of the car will be simulated in the digital twin of the surrounding – based on scenarios and testing schemes developed in TP4000-8000
