                  Research & Transfer

We see software as a catalyst for research and innovation. In addition to our own research into software technologies, we ensure their sustainability through the transfer of knowledge and innovation within and outside DLR. Our institute regularly contributes its outstanding expertise and the methods and technologies it has developed as a partner in projects.

                  Research Topics

The DLR Institute of Software Technology researches and develops pioneering software for the future of society and technology. Six key topics guide our research.

                  Projects

This page offers a selection of our projects. We co-operate with a large number of partners from science and industry.

                  Software solutions

The Institute of Software Technology developes a large number of different software solutions. The institute provides most of its software solutions as open source software. On this page we present a selection of software solutions developed by us.
