Workshop on the use of the greenius simulation tool

In this compact one-day event, you will learn how to use greenius to analyse energy supply systems precisely and quickly – from design and yield forecasts to profitability calculations. greenius provides standard values for numerous input parameters and offers extensive visualisation functions for displaying the results.

Planning solar thermal systems up to 400 degrees Celsius

Are you involved in the planning of industrial process heating systems, in contracting or in the energy sector? Then this workshop offers you the opportunity to get to know greenius – the powerful simulation tool from the German Aerospace Center (DLR) – in a practical way. The freely available software tool has been developed for feasibility studies, technology comparisons and the design of solar thermal systems.

After a general introduction to greenius in the morning, you will have the opportunity to carry out your own simulation of solar thermal process heat systems in the afternoon.

Technical requirements

Please bring your own notebook for the exercises. greenius should be installed on it before the workshop. Installation is only possible under Windows XP, 7, 8, 10 and 11. The tool is available here free of charge.
