The "Start-up Competition - Digital Innovations" recognises innovative start-ups that are aligned with the German government's digital agenda. With prize money of 32,000 euros, this award is a significant recognition of outstanding achievements in the field of digital innovations.

The jury particularly emphasised the following aspects that characterise heatbrAIn:

  • A highly complementary team that provides a strong basis for innovative solutions.
  • heatbrAIn's competent approach to a central topic of the energy transition, which emphasises the relevance of its work.
  • heatbrAIn's ability to accelerate processes through automation and thus make an important contribution to increasing efficiency.

heatbrAIn optimises the way in which data is collected for municipal heating planning and the construction and redesign of heating networks. The start-up, which emerged from the Institute for Solar Research, provides customised geodata and energy models to enable precise and efficient planning at building level.

We would like to congratulate the heatbrAIn team on this success and look forward to continuing to accompany them on their journey.
