ATLAS laboratory test facility
The walk-in airtight chamber has an interchangeable front panel that allows different test specimens to be analysed. The connected measuring blower (bottom left) can pressurise the chamber and measure the air flow that escapes or flows in through the leaks. This allows the size of the leak to be determined. Inside the chamber is a heater and a loudspeaker, outside a ring-shaped microphone array and an infrared camera (far right).
