In-app surveys
With in-app surveys, you can expand your mobility survey and obtain additional important information from the participants. This information can be used to analyse mobility behaviour and enrich the mobility data from your campaign.
Participants can answer the questions directly in the DLR MovingLab app on their smartphone or in the web app. This can also be used to accompany campaigns in which only GPS loggers are used.
The questions and associated answer options can be freely configured for each campaign with the DLR MovingLab.

Questions at the start of a campaign
The initial questionnaire can ask for socio-demographic data such as age or gender, as well as existing mobility options, i.e. whether a car, bicycle or public transport ticket is available.
Questions about journeys
The journey questionnaire can be used not only to obtain information about the purpose of the journey, but also to ask questions about the influence of the weather on the choice of mode of transport.
Questions about the stages of a route
Among other things, the stage questionnaire offers the opportunity to find out details about the means of transport used. If a car was used, questions can be asked about the use of a private vehicle or car-sharing service and whether passengers were taken along. If public transport is used, an assessment of cleanliness or safety could be part of the question.
Questions at the end of a campaign
In the final questionnaire, participants can give feedback on the mobility survey, but also on the use of the DLR MovingLab app.
