For over a decade, Copernicus Sentinel Data Processors have generated vast amounts of reliable, accurate Earth Observation data facilitating groundbreaking scientific research and innovative commercial applications. However, as technology advances, so must the way we process and access this data.
That’s why the European Space Agency (ESA) is introducing the Earth Observation Processing Framework (EOPF) Zarr format, a cloud-ready solution designed for seamless interoperability.

Facilitating this transition is the EOPF Sentinel Zarr Samples Service EOPF Sentinel Zarr Samples Service funded by ESA and managed by a consortium of Earth Observation, satellite data, and IT experts.
