RYSPAS: Smart system integration for space systems
On 30 January 2026, the kick-off meeting for the DLR transfer project RYSPAS (RY Spacecraft Production Assistance System) took place in our integration hall.
Over the next two years, the transfer project will focus on robotic support procedures and processes designed to make the system integration of spacecraft significantly more efficient, ergonomic and error-free. Building on techniques developed in the COOPERANTSproject, the latest technologies will be used, such as a central data management system, specialised robot control software and augmented reality applications. 🦾⚙️
The developed processes will be tested and optimised in terms of their practical suitability in collaboration with industry partners. RYSPAS has the potential to optimise the construction of space systems in the future and make it more cost-effective.
