                  About us

Introducing the DLR Institute for AI Safety and Security: The following pages provide an overview of our research work, insights into our departments and further information about our two locations.

The Institute for AI Safety and Security

At the Institute for AI Safety and Security, we research and develop AI-related methods, processes, algorithms, technologies and execution or system environments.

                  Departments

We work in numerous research fields, which are divided into five departments. Each department focuses on a thematic area of AI and thus on concrete demands and target group needs.

                  Locations & Directions

The Institute for AI Safety and Security is located at two sites: In Sankt Augustin, North Rhine-Westphalia and at the Ulm site in Baden-Württemberg.
