DLR Innovation Lab EmpowerAX

The DLR Innovation Lab Empower Additive Extrusion (EmpowerAX) is a demand-oriented, cross-industry platform of technology users and suppliers for additive extrusion, which is operated by the Institute of Lightweight Systems of the German Aerospace Centre (DLR) in Braunschweig. Application scenarios in the fields of transport, medicine, sport and many other sectors meet technological solutions from material suppliers, machine developers and research institutions. The common goal is to establish standardisation and qualification measures in order to facilitate technology transfer to industrial applications, lower implementation barriers and enable targeted technology development. EmpowerAX enables the joint evaluation of additive extrusion technologies and applications.
