e-World energy & water

e-World energy & water 2026 will focus on innovations and solutions for the energy transition, sustainable infrastructure and the digitalisation of energy systems. The trade fair will take place from 10 to 12 February 2026 at the exhibition grounds in Essen/Germany. DLR will be on site to present its research and technology solutions for the energy and water supply of the future. Our institute will be participating with our research content on the topic of "Power to Heat": These technologies support the industrial transformation by making energy-intensive processes as low-emission as possible. They utilise electricity from fluctuating, renewable sources such as sun and wind. As a result, they provide process heat and process steam in a climate-friendly, reliable and flexible way. We look forward to a lively exchange on applications in industry.
