Quantum Effects

Our institute will be present at Quantum Effects in Stuttgart on 6–7 October 2026 - one of the leading events for quantum technologies. Together with the DLR Institute for AI Safety and the DLR Institute of Quantum Technologies, we will be exhibiting at the joint Quantum BW booth. At our stand, we showcase how quantum computing is being harnessed for next-generation battery research: from quantum chemistry and materials science to full-cell modelling, we develop scalable quantum algorithms that link atomistic insights into electrode and electrolyte materials with system-level performance — with applications in electric mobility, electric aviation, and grid-scale energy storage.
