EMEA 2023-Workshop on Ion Exchange Membranes for Energy Applications

EMEA 2023 workshop in Bad Zwischenahn, Germany.

Once more, very interesting: 80 participants from 20 nations had the opportunity to experience 23 interesting talks and 24 poster presentations at Bad Zwischenahn to discuss material developments and ion exchange membrane based systems for energy applications at the #EMEA2023.

The focus of the workshop was set on anion exchange membranes and started with a first session led by John Varcoe.

Interesting talks came from the invited speakers: David Aili (Technical University of Denmark), Shannon Boettcher (University of Oregon, USA), Dario Dekel (Technion-Israel Institute of Technology, Israel), Lorenz Gubler (Paul Scherrer Institute, Switzerland), Patric Jannasch (Lund University, Sweden), Kenji Miyatake (University of Yamanashi, Japan), Ryan Ouimet (NEL, USA), Jan-Justus Schmidt Schmidt (Enapter, Germany/Italy), John Varcoe (University of Surrey, UK).

We thank all speakers and participants for their involvement, lively discussions and interesting talks.

The welcome reception was organized by NEWELY Project.
