Svenja Stiber receives dissertation prize
The non-profit Friedrich and Elisabteh Boysen Foundation supports science and research, particularly in the field of environmental protection, with annual funding of up to 1.5 million euros.
Among other things, the foundation awards an annual prize at the University of Stuttgart, the Technical University of Dresden and the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. Dissertations in the field of environmental technology are honoured with special consideration of engineering solutions for the reduction of pollutants, noise and energy consumption. The prize is endowed with 5,000 euros each.
In November of this year, Svenja Stiber was able to secure the prize with her dissertation "Novel porous coatings for performance benefits and cost reduction of Polymer Exchange Membrane Water Electrolyzer".
