Each of the Institute's departments has several research groups. Within the group, scientists work in depth on research topics such as batteries, fuel cells, electrolysers and thermal storage.
They generate new knowledge, test hypotheses and drive innovation.
In addition to experimental studies, they analyse data, develop models, design prototypes and publish their findings in scientific journals. You will find our colleagues at many scientific congresses.
Our research groups play a key role in developing new technologies or solutions to current challenges in energy storage and usage.
