European Launcher Challenge
The goal of the European Launcher Challenge (ELC) is to ensure resilient and cost-effective European access to space by supporting companies developing launch vehicles. Acting primarily as a customer of launch services, ESA plays a key role in enabling companies to work quickly and cost-efficiently. Over the long term, the ELC is intended to foster European launch systems that no longer require financial support from public sources.
